Call for technical Papers and case studies
The focus of this conference would be on strategic issues and key aspects related to policy governance of solid waste management best practices. The themes of discussion include A : Policy and Regulatory Framework on Solid Waste Management, B: Waste-to-energy, Technology and Innovative waste solutions, C: Economic Instrument and Financing Methods and D: Best Practices, Case Studies and international cooperation.

The secretariat is pleased to invite interested individuals or organizations to submit their ABSTRACT of presentation papers no more than 400 words. Kindly submit your full paper with the ABSTRACT & biography before 30 August 2009 to the Conference Secretariat via e-mail: conference.swm2010@gmail ;

Speakers whose abstracts/ papers are accepted will be expected to prepare a power-point presentation for use at the Conference's session. Please indicate which date you intend to present your paper. You may register online through the website: www.iconswm.com or may send the filled in registration form and the draft to the Chairman, IconSWM.

The full text of papers should be within 5000 words written in English must be sent to the Conference Secretariat via e-mail to: conference.swm2010@gmail ; Copy to : conference.swmwg4@gmail.com and iconswm@rediffmail.com .

before 30th August 2009 . Full text of papers on following issues are invited. The paper should be written in MS Word 11pt Arial font size containing the title of paper, references, author/ (s) name, address, phone/mobile, fax, e-mail id etc.
All papers will be peer reviewed to ensure high quality and thematic consistency. Full papers will be published in the conference proceedings (CD version) and will be selected for presentation at the conference. Some reviewed papers will be recommended for submission to the international journals of Waste Management & Research who are in cooperation with IconSWM.

At least one author of each selected paper must register and attend the conference to present the paper. The accepted papers of authors who will register will be published in the conference proceedings which will be distributed at the time of desk registration at the venue.

Authors must meet their own expenses (registration fee, travel, accommodation, etc) to attend the conference. The acceptance of the abstract/ paper will be received by the author within 72 hours from the date of receipt of the abstract/ paper by the IconSWM Secretariat.
